Oreik - Baby Male - Husky Mix

Picture
8 WEEKS
Oreik is a monster! He's the biggest of Salvation's puppies, and is the most outgoing. He loves to explore and play with toys of any kind. He loves other dogs, and has been socialized with cats, kids, and small animals. He is great with all. Oreik is a light tan with a white mask, and two gorgeous ice blue eyes. We think he will be around 50-60 pounds when full grown. He is currently 7 weeks old and weighs around 8 pounds. His mother, Salvation, is a purebred husky. We are not sure what the father is, but believe him to be a husky/husky mix.

For those of you not familiar with Salvation and her puppies story, Sally was tied up outside in North Carolina. She had no shelter, and was being fed by her owner's neighbor. Her owners did not even know she was pregnant. She had ten puppies on New Year's Day, and by January 3rd six of them had frozen to death. The neighbor that was feeding her called a loca rescue, who then called us to take her. Salvation and her four remaining puppies were transported to New England to their foster home, where they now reside, waiting for their own home!

Due to the cost of the rescue we do need to have a fee set in place for these puppies of $425 which includes shots, deworming, health certificate, refundable spay/neuter deposit, and transport.

Peanut - Baby Male - Lab Mix - PENDING ADOPTION (KATHY)

Picture
Peanut is a 4 month old male lab mix puppy who was pulled from Gaston County shelter on January 22, 2010 as part of a large pull to draw attention to the inhumane euthanasia practices used by the shelter, whom use carbon monoxide poisoning (gassing).

Peanut is one adorable puppy and he is a people lover as you can see from his photos. He is going to be a medium size dog and he gets along well with other dogs. Peanut truly came from deplorable conditions and deserves the best.

Peanut could use a foster home.....interested?

Help Save One, Inc does not have mandatory adoption fees although we appreciate any donations to help reimburse us for the vetting and transport of your dog. A refundable $50 spay/neuter deposit is required for puppies (not required for Peanut as he is already neutered). Peanut comes with all shots, fecal test, deworming,  flea/tick treatment, neuter (we felt he was old enough), and health certificate for all his worldly travels. Transport is $125.

Jelly - Baby Male - Rottie/Shepherd Mix

Picture
Jelly is a 10 week old baby male that we took from Spalding County shelter in Georgia on his last day. He is a sweet puppy and gets along well with others.

Jelly is not super active and is a little shy but does love people. He just needs some stability and TLC.

We are hoping someone is willing to open their home to Jelly as either a foster or forever home. He is a special little puppy who will become a very large breed dog!
