Our Process
Our process is very simple. We work with only two shelters. One of the shelters takes in 20,000 animals per year. The other is a gassing shelter. We list their urgent dogs and work to find foster and forever homes for them. We also pay their pull fees, transport fees, and any other medical (heartworm treatment, parasites, fractures, etc...) not covered under the pull fee. We also cover the transport costs using a USDA licensed transporter. We ask your help in helping to defray the costs. Whatever funds we receive in go to the dogs. Help Save One has NO paid members. Can you help us save some dogs?
If you are interested in adopting any of the dogs above, please inquire within. Please do NOT put in an application on an urgent dog before you have spoken to us! We have no guarantee that we will get any of the dogs listed below. If going to adoptive homes, they will come with all shots, heartworm test, deworming, spay/neuter, most are microchipped, flea/tick treatment, and health certificate. Any that come with a microchip also come with 30 days of pre-paid pet insurance.

HSO NEEDS YOUR HELP!
This week, Help Save One took in many puppies and very pregnant dogs from the shelter. In the last few weeks, we've taken in a number of dogs that desperately needed rescue. Our transport bills for the past two weeks are over $3500 and the pull fees for Help Save One were close to $2000. We have come to a standstill... Until we raise more funds and adopt out around 30% of our dogs, HSO can NOT pull any more dogs. We are putting a HOLD on pulling any dogs for the time being. Our foster homes are full, our funds are depleted, and we need your help. Please network for these dogs! We desperately need donations, adoptions, and foster homes. Any help you can give is extremely appreciated. Donations can be made to the Urgent Dog Fund. Below are just some of the dogs that we have pulled in the last few weeks that need your help!
