Other ways you can help:

1)       Put up fliers in your area explaining what Help Save One does and getting people to the site to foster, adopt or donate. You can put them up at local vet offices, doggie daycares, kennels, other shelters and stores.
I can email or print and mail them to you.

2)       Run a tag sale.  Almost everyone has ‘junk’ to sell. If not ask co-workers, family and friends for items.
Donate the proceeds to Help Save One or hand out fliers to everyone who stops by thus spreading the word.

3)       Set up a table at your local grocery store and hand out fliers and sell candy.  I sold 15 bars in an hour
without trying, without signs and without help and in a very small out of the way spot.  Just wait until I have
time to do it again.  You just need to have a letter to present to the store manager for approval which I can
email to you. Then set up a time and sell.

4)       Run your own fund raiser.  I can help via supplies, ideas and moral support via email and phone.

5)       Look into events where we can set up a table to sell items and spread the word. Then volunteer to run it (ask your family and friends to help too).

6)       Write letters for donations to people you think might be able to help.  Have them go to the website to
see who we are and what we do.  Hopefully they will help.

7)       Look for free advertising sites that would reach animal rescuers and lovers and let me know so I can
post on the site.

8)   You can get gift cards donated from Stop & Shop, Shaw’s and other stores by letting me know the managers name and stores address.  It must be in the town you live in or closest one if there is not a store in your town.
Ask local merchants for donations.  We can use these for raffles or give them to the foster homes that spend so much of their own money working with these dogs. Donate gas cards for the transporter.  (We are waiting for the IRS approval for 501c3 before we can do Petco or Petsmart. The paperwork is filed it just takes time.)

9)   Don’t be surprised how much help you can get if you just ASK.

We really need volunteers in all areas so we can get fund raisers going everywhere. I need volunteer leaders for fund raisers in each area.  Can you volunteer and get a group to help?  So far I have a few team leaders that have emailed me already. As these areas get set up this page will be divided into regions so you can see what is happening in your area.

 Can you volunteer for your area and run fund raisers, find events and get a team together?

Then we need you. I can help you coordinate and manage but I need you to take care of the actual event.If you can commit to one, two or three days a year for fund raising please email me at pammappam@yahoo.com

Everyone check for local fairs this fall.  Many have very low rates for non-profits.

If you can get that organized in your area let me know. Just setting up a table with informational pamphlets and a donation bucket will work to spread the word.

ALSO...as the holidays approach we need volunteers for short shifts gift wrapping at Barnes & Noble Stores. You just have to be personable. Not necessarily a great wrapper!  This is the generous time of the year.  I need volunteers all over for fund raisers-see above.
